Lexington’s JV team boys head into Christmas break with an overall record of
5-1.  They are 1-1 in region play.  During December the Wildcats defeated Spring Valley and Aiken on the road and have home wins over Box Hill (Australia), Airport and Columbia.  Their only loss of the season was at home to a very athletic Richland Northeast team.
The team returns to action on January 5 as they host Orangeburg-Wilkinson at 8 pm.

JV WILDCATS SPLIT WITH RNE
The JV Wildcats played host to RNE on Thursdays night. The JV girls started off the night with a 39-13 drumming of the Lady Cavs. All Ladycats saw playing time in the game. The Ladycats proved to fast and their defense too much for the Ladycavs. This win boosts the Ladycats record to 3-2 on the young season.
In the nightcap the Wildcat boys played a fast, feisty Cavs team that proved to much this night as they fell by a final of 42-22. RNE jumped out with 2 quick three pointers and the Wildcats just couldn't rally the rest of the game. The cats made good decisions but just couldn't get their shots to fall. They played with intensity and heart but it just wasn't enough, but they will regroup for next week as they travel to Aiken on Dec 15th.
