Lexington has named Scott Earley as Head Football Coach and AD. Coach Earley is eager to begin his new role at Lexington. Below is Coach Earleys Bio. Welcome to Lexington Coach! The best place you will ever serve!

SCOTT LEE EARLEY

Born:  December 31, 1970, in Ellenboro, North Carolina. Coach Earley graduated from Gardner-Webb University, Boiling Springs, N.C., with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education in 1996. He began his teaching and coaching Career at Kings Mountain (NC) High/Middle School, then transferred to Lake City High School, where he was the assistant varsity baseball coach, JV football defensive coordinator and varsity defensive line and tight end coach.  In 1999, he moved to the beach and Carolina Forest High School, where he was the varsity football defensive coordinator, the head JV and assistant varsity baseball coach and assistant athletic director, 
      In 2000, Coach Earley was hired by Myrtle Beach High School to revitalize the football program.  His 8-year term at MBHS has featured a 72-28 overall record, nine straight playoff berths, three region titles, and the 2008 Class AAA State Championship.  For seven of those years, he was also the head baseball coach with a 129-69 overall record.  During the 2009-2010 school year, he was the athletic director and head football coach at Chapin High School, compiling a 7-4 overall record.
      Along the way, he has collected many individual honors, including three-time region coach of the year, 2007-09 State Coach of the Year (all classifications), and 2008-09 S.C. Athletic Coaches Association Football Coach of the Year (all classifications.)  He is the current president of the S. C. Athletic Coaches Association.
      In addition to his coaching duties, Coach Earley has directed the Hawaiian Tropic Baseball Tournament, the SCADA North-South All Star Football Game, Baseball at the Beach, baseball and football youth summer camps, high school baseball clinics, Special Olympics and Senior Games.  Coach Earley is married to the former Margaret (Meg) McCarver of Shelby, North Carolina, and they have two sons, Britt (10) and Brice (6).
