Jeffery Mead - Swimming

Jeffrey won the Swim for Drew across Lake Murray and in a meet against North Augusta he won all 4 of his events (50 free, 400 free, 400 free relay, and 200 medley relay)

Kelsey Smith - Swimming

Kelsey set 4 school varsity swimming records at the Dreher Invitational (16 other schools)- her 1st place in the girls 200 freestyle and 2nd place in the 100 freestyle helped the girls team to a second place finish and the combined boys/girls team to a first place finish overall.

JV CATS SWIM TO VICTORY
The JV Wildcats traveled to Edenwood once again to take on Brookland Cayce and Fox Creek in a Tri-Meet. One the first day of *fall* the other teams *fell* victim to the Awesome Wet Wildcats. Scores are as follows:

JV SWIM TEAM SMOKIN HOT
The junior varsity swim team faced their last foe in Edisto's Varsity. The wildcats blew Edisto out of the water with a combined final of Lexingon 239 - Edisto 44

Sept15th
WILDCATS LAP IT UP
The varsity swim teams participated in the Blue Devil Invitational head at USC over the weekend. It turned out to be a great weekend as the Wildcat Swim team took Overall 1st place!  The boys swim team took 1st place with AC Flora 2nd and Spring Valley 3rd. The girls team took 2nd place with Spring Valley taking 1st and Irmo taking 3rd.   Congratulations go out to all Wildcat Swimmers! Awesome job!

After two rain delays and much anticipation, the home meet between the JV swim team and RNE's varsity team
got under way.  The Wildcat swimmers really looked good with several close finishes. Final results were:

Sept 5th
WILDCAT SWIMMING OFF TO GOOD START

Lexington High School Varsity swim team defeated White Knoll High School  - 258 points to 77
School records were broken by:
Evan Harris in the 400 meter freestyle,
Eric Wenzinger, William Craig, Jeffrey Mead and Tyler Inabinette in the 4 X 100 meter freestyle relay
And Dora Wells, Taylor Vetter, Rebecca Garvin, and Laura Garvin in the 200 meter medley relay.
Also this week the LHS swim team defeated Dutch Fork and RNE.  The Wildcats defeated Dutch Fork 50-10 and RNE 54-4.
School records were broken by:
Kelsey Smith in the 200 Meter Freestyle

Dora Wells, Tayllor Vetter, Michelle Whitfield, and Rebecca Garvin in the 200 Medley Relay

WILDCATS TOP BROOKLAND CAYCE
              JV SWIMMING
Due to Hurricane Hanna the swim meet against Brookland Cayce Was moved up from Friday to Thursday.  All of the swimmers did a super job resulting in a win over the Bearcats.  Final results were:.
