If you have a child in K-6th grade and they would like to have some
fun and learn to wrestle, now is the time to get them involved. The
AAU is set to begin their 2008-09 season and are now signing up

BANNISTER WINS AGAIN!
Daniel Bannister won the (USA) Southeastern Regional held on
5/24-5/25 at the Gwinneth Center in Duluth, Ga. Daniel won the
novice 112 lb divisions in Freestyle and also 112 novice Roman Greco
division. There were kids from 17 states attending and a total of
over 2000 wrestlers for this 2 day tournament.

GOLF TOURNAMENT TO BENEFIT LEXINGTON WRESTLING CLUB
The 3rd annual golf tournament to benefit the Lexington Wrestling
Club will be held on May 19th at Oak Hills Country Club. If you

BANNISTER WINS 2ND NATIONAL TITLE
Lexington AAU's own Daniel Bannister competed in his 2nd
National Tournament in as many weeks and walked away with the
championship in his age bracket. The National High School
Coach Association Middle and Elementary Nation Championship was held
in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Daniel wrestler at 115 lbs.

AAU WRESTLER WINS NATIONAL TITLE
Daniel Bannister, a wrestler for
Lexington AAU won
his First National wrestling
championship this past weekend at the
Southern National Championship(AAU) in
Knoxville, TN. Daniels weight
class was 112 lbs and his age class is
born 1996-1997. Daniel wrestled in the
Novice/Jr division. He has 2 more
national tournaments to attend this
season before beginning the freestyle/greco
wrestling season. Congratulations
Daniel!!
